This is a drug facts label for a roll-on liquid containing Lidocaine, a topical anesthetic that temporarily relieves minor pains. The liquid should be applied every 6-8 hours as needed, not exceeding 3 applications in a 28 hour period. It should not be used on large areas of the body or on cut, irritated, or swollen skin, or puncture wounds, for more than one week without consulting a doctor. The label also warns not to allow contact with eyes, not to bandage or apply heat to the area of use. Stop using if the condition worsens or persists for more than 7 days, or if symptoms clear up and occur again within a few days. It is not for use in children under 12 years of age, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should ask a doctor before use. Inactive ingredients include camphor, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol, menthol, methylparaben, propylparaben, purified water. The package contains 2 fl oz (60 mL) of the liquid.*
