This is a medication called Zyvox, which comes in an injection form with a concentration of 600 mg/300 mL. It should be stored at a temperature between 15°C-30°C (59°C-86°C) and should not be frozen. It is contained in a single-dose container and each milliliter contains linezolid (2 mg), dextrose, sodium citrate, citric acid, and water for injection. The pH of the solution is adjusted to 4.8 with sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid. It is sterile, nonpyrogenic and should not be mixed with other medications or used in series connections. Leaks in the container should be checked before use, and if present, the container should be discarded. The dosage and use of the medication should be as directed by the prescribing physician, and any unused portion should be discarded.
