Decitabine for Injection is a single-dose sterile cytotoxic agont used for Intravenous Infusion ONLY. Each via of the medicine contains 50mg decitabine, 68mg monobasic potassium phosphate, and 11.6mg sodium hydride. The medicine requires pH adjustment and, package insert and/or carton must be checked for dosage and precautions. Unopened vials should be stored at 20°-25°C (68°F to 77°F) with slight excursions permitted between 15°C to 30°C (S9°F to 86°F). Decitabine for Injection is a cytotoxic drug meant for intravenous infusion only. It comes in sterile vials containing 50 mg of decitabine, 68 mg monobasic potassium phosphate, and 11.6 mg Sodium hydroxide. The drug must be reconstituted aseptically with sterile water for injection following the package insert. The final concentration should be 5 mg/mL with a pH of 6.7-7.3. Any unused portion of the vial must be discarded. Dilution might be required as per instructions in the package insert. The diluted solution must be used within 15 minutes of preparation if kept at room temperature while refrigeration is needed if stored for a longer period. It must be kept away from children's reach.
