This is a description of a medication named Magnesium Sulfate in 5% Dextrose Injection, USP. The medication is contained in a 100 mL PAB® Container, with each containing 10g/ml of Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate and Dextrose, Hydrous 5 g in Water for Injection. The medication has a pH of 4.5 (35 to 6.5) and is sterile and non-pyrogenic. The medication should be discarded if unused and must not be used in series connections. The medication is not to be used with supplementary medication and should be administered intravenously. The medication should be stored in temperatures between 20" to 25°C (68" to 77°F), with excursions permitted between 15" t0 30°C (58" to 86°F).*
