This is a description for a radioactive diagnostic agent called Rubidium Rb 82 Generator. It should only be handled by qualified personnel and stored at a specific temperature range. The generator contains Strontium Sr 82 adsorbed on hydrous stannic oxide and should not be removed from its lead shield. This generator is used for the elution of sterile nonpyrogenic Rubidium Chioride Rb 82 and proper dosage can be found in the Prescribing Information.
