This is a prescription medication with an NDC number of 0781-6000-78. It is an ophthalmic emulsion containing difluprednate at a concentration of 0.05%. It is sterile and comes in a 5mL bottle. It is manufactured by Alcon Laboratories, Inc., Fort Worth at Texas and distributed by Sandoz Inc., Princeton. Its active ingredient is diuprednate while the preservative is sorbic acid at 0.1%. Its inactives are boric acid, castor oil, edetate disodium, glycerin, polysorbate 80, sodium acetate, sodium hydroxide, and water for injection. It is to be stored at 20°C 1o 25°C (68°F to 77°F) with excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). It should not be frozen and should be protected from light.
