Critic-Aid Clear is a skin protectant and moisture barrier ointment. It is designed to alleviate minor to severe skin irritation arising from incontinence. The product adheres to intact and wet, denuded skin and is easy to apply and remove. It contains petrolatum (56.5%) as an active ingredient that temporarily protects and helps in relieving chapped or cracked skin while sealing out wetness. The inactive ingredients include cellulose gum (CMC), dimethicone, tocopheryl acetate, and zinc oxide. Critic-Aid Clear is meant for external use only, and users must not get it into their eyes, deep or puncture wounds, or serious burns. Supervision for children using the product is recommended. In case of adverse effects, users are encouraged to see a doctor. The product is manufactured by Coloplast and distributed by Coloplast Corp, and the crimp provides information on the lot number and expiration date.*
