Tri-Linyah is a type of oral contraceptive pill that comes in a pack of 28 tablets. 21 tablets are active and color-coded green (Day 1-7), light blue (Day 8-14), and blue (Day 15-21). 7 tablets are white and inactive. The administration of the active tablets begins on the first day of menstrual bleeding or the first Sunday after the onset of menstruation. The inactive tablets are taken for 7 consecutive days after the active ones, then the following pack should be started on the same day of the week as the first cycle. The patient should use non-hormonal contraception for the first seven days of the first cycle pack to avoid pregnancy.
