Each gram of the medication contains 2 mg of hydrocortisone valerate in a base that includes carbomer homopolymer, dibasic sodium phosphate, methylparaben, sodium lauryl sulfate, polyoxyl 2 stearyl ether, polyoxyethylene (100) stearyl ether, stearyl alcohol, white petrolatum, propylene glycol, and purified water. It is used externally and not suitable for ophthalmic use. The medication is to be stored at temperatures between 20°~25° C (68°~ 77°F) [see USP Contralled Room Temperature] and kept away from the reach of children. To puncture the tube seal, the user has to remove the cap, turn the cap upside down, place the puncture tip onto the tube, push the cap until the tube end is punctured and then screw the cap back. The usual dosage is to apply a small amount to affected areas 2 or 3 times daily. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and not used for ophthalmic purposes.
