Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia is an antacid and saline laxative that contains magnesium hydroxide as the active ingredient. This formulation is free from sugar, stimulants, and cramp-inducing substances, making it ideal for people who are sensitive to these compounds. Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia is available in Mint flavor and packaged in a tamper-evident container. Each 15 mL of the liquid contains 1200 mg of magnesium hydroxide. Potential users with kidney disease, magnesium-restricted diets, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, bowel movement alteration, or prescription drug use should seek medical advice before taking this product. Similarly, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare professional before using it. The recommended dosage for adults and children aged 12 years and above is one dose per day, preferably before bed, without exceeding 15 mL in a 24-hour period. Children aged from 6 to 11 years may take a lower dose, while younger children should consult a physician before use.
