This is a drug label for a product called Pure-Aid™ Nighttime sleep aid, which contains 500mg of Acetaminophen and 25mg of Diphenhydramine HCI as active ingredients. It is used to provide temporary relief of occasional headaches and minor aches and pains accompanied by sleeplessness. The drug comes in caplets and should not be taken in dosages beyond the recommended 2 caplets per night, or 4,000 mg of Acetaminophen in 24 hours, as an overdose may result in severe liver damage. Warnings are listed for individuals with liver diseases, breathing problems, and enlarged prostate as well as for those taking blood-thinning drugs, sedatives or tranquilizers. The label also cautions that drowsiness will occur, which may affect driving or operating machinery, and that the drug should be stored between 20-25°C (68-77°F).
