Hydrocortisone Ointment, USP 1% Avedang is an anti-itch ointment. It is used for the temporary relief of itching associated with skin irritations, inflammation, and rashes, including eczema, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, soaps, and detergents. It can also be used for external genital, feminine, and anal itching. This product should only be used under the advice and supervision of a doctor. The product should not be used if symptoms last for more than 7 days or if rectal bleeding occurs. Keep it away from children and do not swallow. The inactive ingredients include mineral oil, white petrolatum, LNIRYK, I, PITEBLACH A FUDLES.*
