The text provides instructions for administering TERLIVAZ with an initial dose of 0.85 me (1 vial) every 6 hours. A baseline serum creatinine should be recorded on Day 1, and subsequent serum creatinine levels assessed on Day 4. If serum creatinine has decreased by 30% or more from baseline, continue TERLIVAZ at the same dose. If serum creatinine has decreased by less than 30% from baseline or is at or above baseline value, either increase the dose or discontinue treatment. TERLIVAZ should be continued until serum creatinine levels have been below 1.5 mg/dL for at least 24 hours or for a maximum of 14 days.*

This is a description for a drug provided in a single-use vial form. The drug is called Terlipressin, and it is used via intravenous delivery only. The medication contains 0.85mg of Terlipressin. One needs to discard unused portions. Before using, reconstitute Terlipressin with 5 mL of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection. It is best to store the reconstituted liquid in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C. The medication needs to be used within 43 hours of preparation.
