GENUVINE FIRST AID Chewable Aspirin tablets contain each 81 mg of Aspirin (NSAID), which works as an Analgesic/Antipyretic indicated for the temporary relief of minor aches, pains, and headaches, and to reduce fever associated with colds, sore throats, and toothache. However, this product comes with several warnings, including not to use it for more than ten days for pain unless directed by a doctor or use it for more than three days for fever unless directed by a doctor. Also, children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chickenpox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product because of the possibility of rare yet serious Reye’s syndrome. Additionally, it is important to ask a doctor before use if someone has asthma, stomach problems (ulcers, recurrent heartburn, or pain), bleeding problems or taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout, or arthritis. Moreover, if someone is allergic to aspirin, it is better not to use this product. Finally, this product comes with clear directions not to use more than directed, such as adults and children need to chew four to five tablets with water every four hours, but do not exceed 48 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.
