V Oral Rinse USP is a prescription-only mouthwash containing 0.12% chlorhexidine gluconate. It is used as an oral antiseptic, and is recommended to be used for 30 seconds, twice daily after breakfast and before bedtime. It is not recommended to rinse with water after use, and contains ingredients such as sodium saccharin, FD&C Blue No.1, and alcohol. The packaging includes a safety cap that needs to be pressed down while turning to open and tightly lockable for resealing. The mouthwash should be kept away from children.*
