This is a drug facts sheet for a nasal decongestant with the active ingredient oxymetazoline HC at 0.05% concentration. It is used for temporary relief of nasal congestion caused by cold, allergies or hay fever. It is not recommended to be used for more than 3 days, and prolonged or frequent use may worsen symptoms. It is advised to not use it if the printed seal over the cap is missing or broken, and also to not share the container with more than one person to avoid the spread of infection. The user should consult a doctor before use if they have high blood pressure, glaucoma, diabetes, enlarged prostate gland or thyroid disease. The product should be kept out of reach of children and if it is swallowed, medical help should be sought or Poison Control Center should be contacted immediately.
