This is a Drug Facts label for a cough syrup with grape flavor. It contains destromethorphan hydrobromide as a cough suppressant and guaifenesin as an expectorant. It temporarily relieves cough and helps loosen phlegm. This product is for adults and teenagers over 12 years old; it should not be used by children under 12. The user should not take more than 6 doses in any 24-hour period, and the product should be stored at room temperature. If the user is pregnant or breastfeeding, they should consult a healthcare professional before use. If a monoamine oxidase inhibitor is present in the user's prescription, they should consult a doctor or a pharmacist before use. If the cough persists or is accompanied by excessive mucus, headache, fever, rash or persistent headache, they should stop using the product and consult a doctor.
