PediaClear is a children's antihistamine medication used to temporarily relieve symptoms of runny nose, itching of the nose or throat, and itchy, watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies. It contains Pyrilamine Maleate as the active ingredient and is free from dyes, sugar, gluten, alcohol, and artificial flavors. The medication is distributed by GM Pharmaceuticals and comes in an 8 fluid ounce bottle. It is essential to ask a doctor before use if the child has breathing problems, glaucoma, or is taking sedatives or tranquilizers. Children under 6 must consult a doctor before use. The medication dose for children aged between 6 to 12 years is 30 mL (2 dose cups) every 6 to 8 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours or as directed by a physician.
