A backflow preventative device in the piping and pressure reducing equipment and apparatus designed for oxygen must always be used. The contents should not be used on patients who have stopped breathing unless used in conjunction with resuscitative equipment. The oxygen should be protected from sunlight and the container should not exceed 52°C/125°F. This product is for emergency use by properly trained personnel. For all other medical applications, it is Rx only. Continuous use of high concentrations of oxygen over a long period without monitoring can be harmful. Produced by Air Liquefaction. The container should be kept in an upright position and stored in a well-ventilated place away from combustible materials. The product may cause cryogenic burns, and combustibles coming into contact with the liquid may explode on ignition or impact. The container should only be used with equipment that is compatible and rated for cylinder pressure. In case of frostbite, thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water and do not rub affected areas. This product is intended for emergency use only when administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. Uninterrupted use of high concentrations of oxygen over a long duration, without monitoring its effect on oxygen content of arterial blood, may be harmful.
