This is a description of an antifungal cream containing 2% Miconazole Nitrate. It is indicated for treating jock itch, ringworm, athlete's foot, and superficial skin infections caused by yeast. It is effective in relieving redness, irritation, itching, and burning. The cream should be applied externally twice daily, or as directed by a physician, to the affected area, after cleaning and drying it thoroughly. Though it should not be used on children under 2 years of age without the doctor's direction. It should also not be used on the scalp or nails.
