This is a description of a medical product called PVP Prep Solution manufactured by Sion Biotext Medical Ltd. This antiseptic solution is used to prevent skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It contains 10% w/v Povidone Iodine as an active ingredient. It is helpful in reducing bacteria that can potentially cause skin infections. The product is available in 500 packets per case, with each packet weighing 0.750z. This first aid antiseptic should only be used externally, and care should be taken not to use it in the eyes or more than one week as a first aid antiseptic.
