YCVS Health Regular Strength Antacid Liquid provides fast relief from heartburn, acid indigestion, pressure, and bloating. The mint-flavored liquid contains 400g aluminum hydroxide, 400mg magnesium hydroxide and 40mg simethicone per 10 mL dose. The bottle is tamper-evident and has a band on the cap that should not be broken or missing. However, one should not take more than 80 mL (8 doses) in a 24 hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks. Additionally, one should consult a doctor before use if one has kidney disease, a magnesium-restricted diet, or is currently taking a prescription.
