Cleocin Phosphate® is a 9,000 mg/60 mL (150 mg/mL) Pharmacy Bulk Package of clindamycin injection, USP for intramuscular or intravenous use. It contains clindamycin phosphate equivalent to 150 mg of clindamycin per mL. The solution also contains disodium edetate and benzyl alcohol as preservative. The pH may be adjusted with sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid. It is not for direct infusion and must be diluted before use if given intravenously. The accompanying prescribing information should be consulted for dosage and use. It should be stored at controlled room temperature and not refrigerated.
