Maxiumum Strength Mucus Relief DM is a drug tablet that contains active ingredients of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide USP and Guaifenesin USP 1200 mg. It helps in loosening phlegm and thin the bronchial secretion to get rid of the bothering mucus and make coughs productive. It has a warning that states not to use if the person is currently taking a prescription monoamine oxidse inhibitor (MAOI) for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease or for two weeks after stopping. If you are not sure about the contents of the prescription drug, seek advice from your doctor. The product can’t be used for children under 12 years of age. It shouldn't be crushed, chewed, or broken but taken with a glass of water. The product is not available for use more than directed with no more than two tablets within 24 hours. It contains inactive ingredients like colloidal sificon dioxide, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalin cllulose, povidone, pregelainized starch. Not available for use if the carton is open or if printed seal on bister is broken or missing. The product is for cough suppression and has codes for teen medication.*
